Soulcalibur 6 | Review, Gameplay, & more...

Following a six-year absence from the 3D battling scene, Soulcalibur makes a triumphant return in its seventh passage in the principle series. The following in Bandai Namco's line of arcade battling games holds consistent with its extraordinary image of weapon-based battle while sprinkling in simply the appropriate measure of new mechanics. The mix separates it from its predecessors, as well as keeps it aggressive against all others in its class.

SoulCalibur is, at its center, a straightforward game. You just have three assault buttons – flat and vertical assaults and a kick – and in addition a button to block. There's a substantially more prominent accentuation on 3D development in SoulCalibur – dividing is vital, yet in addition position, as a few moves will hit avoiding rivals and Ring Outs are much more incessant in SC than some other battling game and a critical piece of triumph. You have to consider where you are consistently and attempt to make the best course of the move.

The story returns to its foundations, retelling the occasions of the first Soulcalibur, and gives two altogether different however similarly advantageous story modes that tissue out the story of swords and spirits in a way that is more digestible than any other time in recent memory.

Be that as it may, regardless of anything else, Soulcalibur 6 is super fun game. It's enjoyable to play, amusing to learn, amusing to watch, and even when some dated introduction issues raise their heads, they do almost no to discolor Soulcalibur 6's shine.

Recent Article: Anthem | Review, Gameplay, News & more...

Quick Facts:

  • Release Date: October 19, 2018
  • Genre: Fighting
  • Developer: Project Soul
  • Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC

New to the series is a mechanics called Reversal Edge, which puts your character in a position that enables them to assimilate a few hits previously conveying their own strike. This assault starts a stone/paper/scissors-like minigame to choose who bargains the following hit and recoups the energy of the battle.

At first glance, this may appear as though a good fortune constructed a speculating game with respect to best of a duel of aptitude, however, once you truly delve into it, it opens the entryway for some extremely precarious personality games.

Each character currently additionally has a Soul Charge. Players can fabricate meter via landing assaults, at that point at the expense of a bar of meter, give themselves an interesting buff and access to new intense moves and combos. It's an incredible option that adds distinction between characters. What's more, Soul Charges include a decision for players when spending their meter: Either dump a bar of meter on one immense move that arrangements harm in advance, or utilize a Soul Charge to possibly bargain more harm over a more extended timeframe.

Whatever is left of Soulcalibur 6's mechanics feel like a refinement of an effectively awesome battle framework. I'm appreciative protect impacts never again cost meter. I cherish that deadly hits are new "super" counters that are fundamentally the same as pound counters in Street Fighter 5. Furthermore, even with all the new mechanics that could entangle Soulcalibur 6, it's as yet one of the most effortless battling game to hop into, begin hammering button and still have an awesome time.

Soulcalibur: ' The Libra Of Soul '

The real attraction is the other story, called 'the Libra of Soul'. Here you make a custom character from a genuinely hearty suite, enabling you to make everything from a normal knight in sparkling shield to some extremely ignorant stuff.

Libra of Souls begins moderate with a story introduced on the whole without voice acting or cutscenes. Be that as it may, following two or three hours, it rapidly wound up one of my most loved story modes I've ever played in a battling game. Libra is testing, its main goal assortment works admirably of keeping the battle new, and it constrained me to investigate movesets in manners I generally wouldn't have. There's likewise an extraordinary feeling of movement on account of the RPG components and adroitly composed weapon overhaul framework that kept me returning.

Shockingly, that absence of voice acting and those static screens mean the plot can get somewhat dry now and again. Be that as it may, its general account kept me contributed enough to need to see it all the way to the finish, with experiences with different characters including a pleasant dosage of setting to the next story mode, Soul Chronicle.

What is 'Chronicles Of Soul? '

Soul Chronicle is the fundamental story that runs parallel to Libra of Souls. Its completely voice-acted offering is the more customary single player Soulcalibur story encounter including the reviled sword Soul Edge as it pursues the principal trio of Kilik, Maxi, and Xianghua, and their quest for Nightmare. You can likewise choose every individual character and experience a brisk smaller than expected battle that spotlights on what they're doing at a particular period on the course of events. Fundamentally, it takes the individual character accounts of an arcade mode, lays them full scale helpfully on a course of events, and gives you a chance to handle them in any request you need. It's an extraordinary expansion and ties the character program together in an exceptionally strong manner.

The Verdict.

In spite of some minor issues, the spirit of Soulcalibur 6 is strong to the point that it feels like a genuine continuation of SoulCalibur 2, in a way that none of the others oversaw. The new Reversal Edge and Soul Charge mechanics include new layers of technique and mind games while the one-two punch of Libra of Soul and Soul Chronicle will give a long time of phenomenal single-player content. Despite that Soulcalibur 6 is only straight up a good time for players of any expertise level.

That's all about for Soulcalibur 6 for now, but as soon as Pro-GamersArena get some new info, we will let you know, till then keep loving and sharing, And be in touch with "Pro-GamersArena", "THE PRO-BROS ARENA"

Essence And Existence

Fr. Mark Higgins, guest blogger writes:

Classically speaking Thomists tend to say that unicorns and anime characters and Bart Simpsons do not exist, they have "essence" but not "existence".

I'm not so sure about all this, you see, I think Cloud Strife, Sonic and Frodo Baggins do exist, obviously not in the same sense that you, or I, or the keyboard that I am touching, "exist" but nonetheless this is something very real about these characters.

The characters of fiction have a life, their authors and developers conceive them and then we all maintain them through our imaginations, through cosplay, through fan fiction... they then influence our culture and our lives. Basically they, in some sense, exist, and not just analogically, they really have a level of existence, they aren't just non existing essences.

How do they exist? They exist as relative to our minds, they are conceived in human minds and are sustained collectively. This is something amazing and incredible about humanity, something that completely differentiates us from all the other non-human and non-angelic creatures.

Everything that exists exists relative to a mind. So much of our collective culture is sustained in this way, a whole universe of literature and art is sustained in this way.

And here is the point I want to get to.... the way in which we maintain the existence of imaginary things through the power of human minds is exactly parallel to the way that the Absolute Mind creates and sustains the whole universe, we are sustained by a mind, just as Pikachu and the Hydra are our creates and are sustained by our minds, we are God's creatures and we are sustained by His Mind.

Psalm 136 reads:
"And in Your book were written all the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!"

Indeed, how precious are the thoughts of the Almighty, I am a thought of the Almighty and in my little imaginary creations I bestow an existence that is a type or reflection of the existence that He bestows on me as He sustains my very being with His Absolute Mind.

Orbits Of Planets

When I'm not feeling particularly inspired to work on a bigger project, I explore topics that might be useful later. I have been reading about planetary exploration, orbital mechanics, lunar chemistry, and other space topics. Along the way I found John Carlos Baez's blog post about the Pentagram of Venus. What a cool image! I wanted to try it myself. So I did.

Demonic Apocalypse RPG Setting, Part 2

Thank you for the inspiration and ideas. This is leading the setting to be altered to better fit in some of the suggestions.

Originally the Demonic Apocalypse setting was not going to use guns and start a generation or two beyond the Demonic Wars. The commentary is favorable for player characters who didn't grow up during the war, thus not having characters with greater military experience. However, the concept of having a world without guns was something people didn't feel fit the setting.

Changes for Firearms

I will be including firearms in the write ups of characters and locations. They aren't common weapons, but they exist. Ammunition is also scarce because it is dependent on either finding older bullets, hoping they still work, or finding someone who has the equipment and supplies to reload cartridges. For the group that was asking about this, a cautionary note was given to the players.

Guns make a particular sound that can be heard for some distance, especially in areas like canyons. All of the players understand there is a danger of being heard when a shot is taken. This can lead to additional unexpected encounters with bandits, scavengers, demonic thralls, and demons.

Even with the additional risk firearms present in the setting, this was an area people felt was needed to make it appropriate. Along with the basic firearms it was discussed that other military grade weapons could possibly be found, or come into play, later when the party is out on missions. This includes mostly explosive devices, but again could easily expand to other forms of weapons.

Currently available weapons are what is for players, at least to start. If the military, or other testing facility or laboratory, was working on new weaponry for the war effort, that would be something to be introduced during adventuring (of course it was considered a strong avenue of adventure to find new weapons to fight the demons with).

Religious Magic

There was also a question of making available religious magic since this is s demonic apocalypse. I purposefully left this part open for several reasons. The main being, which religion would be the one to represent. So, if you are inclined to have religion play an impactful part into the game you would like to run please do and make it the flavor of your desire.

I will be presenting the demons here more as some form of dimensional creatures that have been allowed to cross over. You might think this is along the lines of the mega monsters of recent movies, but I am going to be using some classical Dungeons and Dragons dimensional creatures to fulfill my combat needs.

Leveling Characters

There were questions about how to level the characters to make them stronger to fight the demonic creatures.

The discussion on this was because the game master's group are very much into the ideal of leveling their characters. After further talking, it was understood that the players were less about playing personalities and were more about the strategy of combat.

I have no problem with doing that, if that was my desire.

For this setting the goal is to create more of a base for personality play between the characters and the rest of the setting. The encounters are leaning towards more creative thinking than just being high enough levels to have the abilities for the party to go toe-to-toe with the main boss. In fact, one of the current story threads could mean that instead of defeating or removing the demons from our world the characters have to come to a different settlement.

Moving Forward

After the conversation and looking over the notes I have been taking for this setting, I have made alterations.
Like previous settings, I am going to focus on creating personalities and locations that can be used as part of the main adventure or side adventures. There will be non-player characters that can be brought in for help or hindrance to the party. There will be descriptions of characters and places that are easily accessible to the party, while others are remote and require them to journey forth from the safety of their known area.

I was asked to create some adventures for this setting. Because of the breadth of desire of the different concepts of what people have mentioned, the adventures I'll create for this setting will be in an outline format. This will allow you to mold it to the style of game you would like to have.

I already have heard where one gaming group has already started running with this idea and the initial adventuring party, or "Fire Squad" has journeyed forth into a nearby abandoned city. Their mission objective was simply to gather up supplies that could be useful for their enclave that is up one of the nearby canyons.

The feedback has been enjoyable on this project. I will admit it has taken on a little more than I thought it would originally. For that I thank those who have sent comments, suggests, and requests.

10 Brazilian Videogames To Start 2020 In An Epic Way

I don't like to make lists but this one is a special exception. I created a list with 10 Brazilian games that I loved a lot to play in last years. As a Brazilian guy, nothing fairer than talking a little bit about the games created in my country. You can find any of them easily in Steam or the mainstream consoles. I tried to put a small description of each one with a trailer. You can search on Google to know more about them.

1.Horizon Chase Turbo (Aquiris)

Horizon Chase Turbo is a modern take on the 90s old-school racers that we loved the most such as Out Run or Top Gear. It's the first game in analogic Blu-ray launched in Brazilian Territory. Platforms: PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, Xbox One

2.Chroma Squad (Behold Studios)

Chroma Squad is a tactical role-playing video game influenced by tokusatsu TV shows, particularly the Super Sentai and Power Rangers franchises. Platforms: PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Android, Microsoft Windows, Linux, Macintosh operating systems, macOS.

3.Celeste (MiniBoss)

Celeste is platform game in which players control a girl named Madeline in a beautiful, challenging and metaphorical struggle against anxiety and depression (I really love this one). Platforms: Linux, macOS, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

4.Rainy Day (Thais Weiller & Amora B.)

A short and reflective experience about depression on a rainy day. A game to be played right in your browser. Click here. Platform: Internet browsers.

5.Shiny (Garage 227)

Awesome art, robots and puzzles. I'll not say anything more, but Shiny was one of the most immersive experiences I had with a game in the last years. Check the trailer below and try to play. Platforms: PC, Xbox One and PS4.

6.Blazing Chrome (JoyMasher)

Blazing Chrome is a classic co-op run 'n gun with an original arcade feel. Players can choose between Mavra, the badass human resistance, soldier or Doyle, the groovy rebel robot, to kick some metal ass. Are you a Contra lover? You'll love this game. Platforms: PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows

7.Aritana and the Twin Masks (DUAIK)

second adventure of a universe that explores even more the forest's mysteries, based in the brazilian mythology and culture. With a new weapon, a bow and arrow, the adventure extends gameplay possibilities, bringing 3D movement, big sceneries in open landscapes to explore and powers that helps the player solve several puzzles. Explore a huge lost temple and find artifacts that can be mixed in many special potions and prepare yourself to save the tree of life. Platforms: Xbox One.

8.Sky Racket (Double Dash Studios)

Sky Racket is a mixture of the casual fun from Block Breakers and the awesome action from Shoot 'Em Ups, which makes it the first Shmup Breaker. Platforms: Microsoft Windows, Linux, macOS, IBM PC compatible.

9.Tamashii (Vikintor)

Tamashii it's a platform game that generates a sense of strangeness for its gameplay and layout. I can't express in words why I liked this game so much. I think it was his strangeness that made me find an experience interesting. The dark ambience soundtrack with the lovecraftian/gigerian creatures/scenarios are the high points of the game for me. About the developer: Vikintor is a Brazilian independent artist and game creator; his work it's mostly about Metaphysical punk, Transgressive Gnosticism and Philosophically subversive themes. Making small and medium-size games with the proposal to conceive experimental interactive medium of expression (text from author's site). Platform: Microsoft Windows.

10.Lenin - The Lion (Lornyon)

Lenin is an albino lion, the only one of his kind, and because of that he feels insecure and constantly discouraged. In fact. Worse, his mother does not understand why his son was born this way, and the whole village despises him and treats him cruelly. At school, he suffers bullying and can't concentrate on class. Now, hopeless about life, certain situations seem to awaken in Lenin something that is not of everyone's reality, but only of his. Something he will discover to be the part of something else. Platform: Microsoft Windows.

Bonus Stage: Mind Alone (Sioux)

Time for self-promotion! MIND ALONE is an experimental mobile game that uses puzzle mechanics to create a dark narrative about somebody trapped in their own mind. Each puzzle is a memory and the player needs to solve them to find hints about how it happened. I created this game in a partnership with Sioux, a Brazilian gaming publisher. Platforms: iOS and Android.

Hope you enjoy and happy new year.

Brave Browser the Best privacy-focused Browser of 2019

Out of all the privacy-focused products and apps available on the market, Brave has been voted the best. Other winners of Product Hunt's Golden Kitty awards showed that there was a huge interest in privacy-enhancing products and apps such as chats, maps, and other collaboration tools.

An extremely productive year for Brave

Last year has been a pivotal one for the crypto industry, but few companies managed to see the kind of success Brave did. Almost every day of the year has been packed witch action, as the company managed to officially launch its browser, get its Basic Attention Token out, and onboard hundreds of thousands of verified publishers on its rewards platform.

Luckily, the effort Brave has been putting into its product hasn't gone unnoticed.

The company's revolutionary browser has been voted the best privacy-focused product of 2019, for which it received a Golden Kitty award. The awards, hosted by Product Hunt, were given to the most popular products across 23 different product categories.

Ryan Hoover, the founder of Product Hunt said:

"Our annual Golden Kitty awards celebrate all the great products that makers have launched throughout the year"

Brave's win is important for the company—with this year seeing the most user votes ever, it's a clear indicator of the browser's rapidly rising popularity.

Privacy and blockchain are the strongest forces in tech right now

If reaching 10 million monthly active users in December was Brave's crown achievement, then the Product Hunt award was the cherry on top.

The recognition Brave got from Product Hunt users shows that a market for privacy-focused apps is thriving. All of the apps and products that got a Golden Kitty award from Product Hunt users focused heavily on data protection. Everything from automatic investment apps and remote collaboration tools to smart home products emphasized their privacy.

AI and machine learning rose as another note-worthy trend, but blockchain seemed to be the most dominating force in app development. Blockchain-based messaging apps and maps were hugely popular with Product Hunt users, who seem to value innovation and security.

For those users, Brave is a perfect platform. The company's research and development team has recently debuted its privacy-preserving distributed VPN, which could potentially bring even more security to the user than its already existing Tor extension.

Brave's effort to revolutionize the advertising industry has also been recognized by some of the biggest names in publishing—major publications such as The Washington Post, The Guardian, NDTV, NPR, and Qz have all joined the platform. Some of the highest-ranking websites in the world, including Wikipedia, WikiHow, Vimeo, Internet Archive, and DuckDuckGo, are also among Brave's 390,000 verified publishers.
